Accent Printing was founded by Gerald Mellish in 1964 and operated out of an upstairs premise in Queens Road, Southend. As the company grew, more people were employed, one being the present Managing Director, Helen Maddock who joined in 1979, becoming a partner in 1986.

In 1988, the business having significantly outgrown its existing first floor location moved up the road to larger, more accessible premises at 39, Queens Road. The move provided to be a major success, so much so that a further expansion into the next door premises was completed in 1994. This allowed for a unit to be used exclusively for retail and the other units dedicated to printing and manufacture. That year Gerald Mellish retired and Helen Maddock became a Managing Director. We attribute our success over 45 years to providing a first class service of high quality work, competitively priced and always completed on time.
